September 17, 2025 — Today at MEOS-GEOS the Middle East’s premier upstream oil & gas exhibition and conference – Bahrein marks the launch of a significant strategic partnership between CYSEC, Europe’s leading cybersecurity innovator for space-based communications, and Saudi Net link (SNL), a leading Saudi satellite telecommunications provider and system integrator . Together, they will deploy ARCA SATCOM VPN, CYSEC’s cutting-edge encryption and performance-enhancing solution, to secure satellite communications across the Kingdom.
Enhancing Satellite Multi-Orbit Connectivity: Security Meets Performance
ARCA SATCOM VPN is a unique performance-enhancing proxy (PEP) that integrates encryption and traffic acceleration—doubling or even improving link throughput compared to traditional VPNs, all without added latency. Designed for deployment across GEO, MEO, and LEO networks, it ensures confidentiality and integrity for critical satellite links.
CYSEC’s longstanding collaborations – including its work with Space Agencies such as ESA’s ARTES 4S programme as well as qualification under French Space Agency label (CNES) — and intensive collaboration with GEO and LEO network providers highlight how the company balances security with seamless performance, even in high-latency or bandwidth-challenged environments.
A Landmark Partnership for the Region
Under the agreement, Saudi Net link will integrate ARCA SATCOM VPN within its national satellite infrastructure, enhancing the security of services used by government, defense, utilities, and remote enterprise clients. This integration will bolster data protection while unlocking additional bandwidth for mission-critical applications in remote and mobile operations.
CYSEC brings its ARCA SATCOM solution—renowned for its plug-and-play design, zero-trust key management, and compatibility with multi-protocol satellite topologies. Saudi Netlink contributes deep regional knowledge, infrastructure, and service delivery expertise to ensure smooth adoption and deployment.
“This partnership solidifies our mission to secure space-based connectivity without sacrificing performance.” said Yacine Felk, COO & Co-founder of CYSEC.
“ARCA SATCOM’s unique balance of encryption and performance for our multi-orbit satellite managed services is exactly what our national and enterprise users require.” remarked Rami Osman, Managed Services Director of Saudi Net link.
Regional Impact & Way Forward: This collaboration signals a leap forward in the cybersecurity of Saudi Arabia’s satellite communications infrastructure. It aligns with national priorities in digital sovereignty, secure connectivity, and resilience. A phased deployment is expected to begin in Q4 2025, with pilots targeting high-priority sectors, followed by a scalable rollout across the Kingdom.
