Lausanne, October 21 — CYSEC is proud to announce that its ARCA SATCOM solution has successfully completed qualification for use over the HELLAS-SAT network. This milestone represents a major step forward in merging high-assurance cybersecurity with commercial satellite communications in the Europe / EMEA region.
Qualification Achieved Over HELLAS-SAT
Following rigorous testing and validation, ARCA SATCOM has been qualified to operate across HELLAS-SAT’s geostationary satellite infrastructure. This qualification ensures compatibility, security, and performance when ARCA SATCOM is deployed over HELLAS-SAT’s network, enabling customers to benefit from secure, high-performance data transport across HELLAS-SAT’s coverage footprint.
Raising the Bar for Secure Satcom
ARCA SATCOM is a space-grade VPN solution developed by CYSEC to deliver strong encryption with minimal performance penalty. Under prior tests on other GEO and LEO links (including trials via CNES / CESARS) the solution has demonstrated the ability to maintain or enhance throughput relative to standard VPNs, while providing robust end-to-end cryptographic protection.
Through the HELLAS-SAT qualification, ARCA SATCOM’s encryption layer, traffic acceleration capabilities, and link integration have all been validated under real-world operating conditions on a major commercial satellite operator’s infrastructure.
Benefits to Customers & Operators
- Enhanced security with no compromise on throughput: ARCA SATCOM’s architecture is designed to combine strong TLS-based cryptography with a proxy/acceleration layer, achieving performance improvements over traditional VPNs.
- Seamless interoperability: The qualification ensures that ARCA SATCOM can be deployed transparently across HELLAS-SAT’s network, simplifying integration for service providers, enterprise users, and government customers.
- Operational confidence: The qualification reduces deployment risk and accelerates time to market for secure satcom services over HELLAS-SAT’s GEO footprint.
- Future–proofed and quantum immune capabilities : ARCA SATCOM implements NIST standardized post-quantum cryptographic algorithms to show advanced protection capabilities
Next Steps
With qualification complete, CYSEC plans to support demonstration and deployment of ARCA SATCOM-enabled services with HELLAS-SAT customers. This includes pilot projects in commercial, governmental, and defense sectors across the HELLAS-SAT coverage area.
CYSEC remains committed to advancing secure satellite communications across both GEO and LEO constellations, and is actively engaging with partners and customers to deliver resilient, high-assurance connectivity in space.
