“Another extraordinary year marked by the pandemic is behind us, so I hope that my season greetings find you all in good health.

Despite the continuous uncertainty, CYSEC had the chance to grow and develop its business successfully in 2021, so it is time for us to show gratitude to colleagues, clients, partners and investors.

In the post digitalization world with increased complexities and financial pressure, our vision of an agile, agnostic and robust data protection solution will be the key for success for companies’ competitiveness worldwide. We are happy to be able to count on a strong team of skilled professionals, and on solid partnerships and collaboration at many levels to work towards our goal.

2021 wrap-up

Recapping the biggest news from CYSEC:

  • We joined the GAIA-X initiative, for a federated, trustworthy and secure Data Infrastructure for Europe to Europe’s data sovereignty.
  • CYSAT21: the 3-day event broadcasted live from Davos, Switzerland, represented the first opportunity for a space community of +200 participants to discuss cyber challenges related to space missions. See the conference in replay here.
  • A Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with the Cyber-Defence Campus of armasuisse for the industrial implementation of a technology developed to protect data transiting and collected in space via satellites.
  • Joining the accelerators programs of NVIDIA and ORACLE
  • Being part of the Kickstart start-up support program
  • Being finalist of the Trust Valley session 2
  • A partnership with D-orbit to perform the in-orbit demonstration of ARCA in space in Q1 2022 on its ION Satellite Carrier.
  • A collaboration with AMD resulted in a white paper on how ARCA leverage AMD-SEV
  • An Investor Roadshow in the Silicon Valley with the Venture Leaders Technology 2021
  • The European Space Agency (ESA) appointed CYSEC to develop end-to-end protection of governmental data exchanged over satellites, under ESA’s Strategic Programme Line Space Systems for Safety and Security (ARTES 4S)

Looking ahead

In 2022, we’ll keep on paving the way for cloud adoption and edge computing, answering the three-fold challenge of security, compliance, and simplicity for data and workloads.

On the road

We will be exhibiting at FIC (International Cybersecurity Forum) in Lille on June 6-7, 2022, as well as at Viva Tech in Paris (and online) on June 15-18, 2022.
