Cosimo Calcagno joins Board of Directors

LAUSANNE – CYSEC SA, the data protection company, announces today that Cosimo Calcagno is joining the company as a member of its Board of Directors and investor.

Cosimo Calcagno oversees technology investments of one of leading Italian venture capital firms Indaco Venture Partners sgr. Cosimo’s appointment completes CYSEC’s Board as it prepares to become the European leader in sensitive data and workload protection. He is convinced that value of distributed data assets will be critical in future business applications, which is why he strongly believes that CYSEC’s solution will be the business enabler for enterprises that need robust data security to move to the cloud and edge to innovate with confidence.

Cosimo Calcagno joined Indaco in 2019. He oversees technology investments leveraging his deep expertise in the enterprise software industry and serves on the board of several portfolio companies. Before joining Indaco, Cosimo was Senior Manager at Microsoft where he supported main Italian corporations and financial institutions on their strategic initiatives and developed new collaboration with emerging technology providers.
He holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and started his career at Accenture, where he led as business Manager several digital transformation programs for major European corporates in TMT (telco, media and technology) and Financial Services sectors.
