CYSEC SA introduces CYSEC ARCA Trusted OS

Confidential Computing Solution in One Click

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, June 7th, 2021 – CYSEC SA, a data security company, introduces CYSEC ARCA, a confidential computing solution to protect data in use. Enterprises that deal with critical or sensitive data struggle to protect data in the cloud and at the edge.

Introducing CYSEC ARCA Trusted Operating System (OS)

CYSEC ARCA Trusted OS is a trusted execution environment (TEE) for sensitive Kubernetes containers and workloads, with a hardware root of trust, that provides a higher level of data security while ensuring that key management is pain-free and performance is not compromised.

“CYSEC ARCA protects the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data while it’s being processed. It enhances data security by generating hardware-based, unexportable encryption keys” said Alexandre Karlov, CTO at CYSEC. “CYSEC ARCA protects the full stack, from hardware, to kernel, to application. It is highly available, redundant, scalable, cost effective and DevOps friendly.”

CYSEC ARCA Trusted OS paves the way for cloud adoption and edge computing, answering the three-fold challenge of security, compliance, and simplicity. Business data, client data, patient data and digital assets— guardians of high-value data— can plug in CYSEC ARCA and use their data with peace of mind, knowing their entire computing environments can be trusted.

CYSEC ARCA Deployments

CYSEC ARCA Trusted OS can run on bare metal servers, on Google Cloud infrastructure resources and on a variety of embedded hardware platforms at the edge.

  • CYSEC ARCA On-Premise container hosting solution, is deployed on bare metal and delivered within a hardware-based trusted execution environment, designed to process regulated data. CYSEC ARCA lightweight appliance includes a TPM 2.0, UEFI with secure boot and an optional certified HSM.
  • CYSEC ARCA Confidential Container as a Service (CCaaS) – CYSEC manages a pool of physical machines at a Tier 4 and Tier 3 Swiss datacenters and provides a service for customers to deploy their applications in a scalable and resilient way. CCaaS uses Kubernetes container management and provides DevOps teams a confidential computing environment for hosting their critical applications and workloads.
  • Public Cloud – Deploy CYSEC ARCA Trusted OS on top of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) IaaS – Confidential VM. This will enable customers to protect their sensitive Kubernetes workloads on top of GCP.
  • CYSEC ARCA Edge is a custom distribution of the CYSEC ARCA Trusted OS, designed to run on a variety of embedded hardware platforms. ARCA Embedded offers the same security performance of ARCA Trusted OS while being compatible with embedded requirements.
